Aiseyman! The hijab is not sacred, it’s just a piece of cloth!


The hijab is not sacred. It is a piece of cloth. Wearing it does not convey piety or protection from anything, even rape. And like any fashion accessory, mocking it is not blasphemy.

People who push this hijab agenda, and equate it with piety, and shame women who do not wear, need to be out in their place. We should strip away the myth of sacralisation, and legitimately criticise this idea that a piece of cloth is the epitome of female pity, and to disagree is blasphemy. I am not going adhere to that oppression.
